1 BAI Yu, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)
白宇, 香港科技大學(廣州)
Bai Yu is a lecturer in the College of Education Sciences at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). He obtained his PhD in Buddhist Studies from Leiden University. For his dissertation, he examined the relationship between Buddhism and Tang state ideology by translating and analysing imperial Buddhist prefaces. This project is currently under contract with Brill as a monograph. His broader research interests include religion and politics, Buddhist literature, and interreligious exchange. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Monumenta Serica and Dunhuang Research.

白宇現任香港科技大學(廣州)教育科學學院講師。他於萊頓大學取得佛學博士學位,其博士論文透過翻譯與分析御製佛教序,探討了佛教與唐代國家意識形態之間的關係。該研究項目目前已與博睿(Brill)出版社簽約,將出版專著。他的研究興趣廣泛,涵蓋宗教與政治、佛教文學,以及跨宗教交流。其研究成果曾發表於《華裔學志》(Monumenta Serica)及《敦煌研究》等同儕審查期刊。

2 Nadine BREGLER, University of Hamburg

Nadine Bregler is currently a Glorisun Postdoctoral Fellow specialising in medieval Chinese history and manuscript studies. Her research centres on previously overlooked Buddhist poetry collections dating from the ninth to the twelfth centuries. Focusing on the transition from manuscript culture to the introduction of print, she examines how texts were compiled, organised, and edited during the Song dynasty (960–1279), particularly in light of the loss of many Tang-era (618–907) manuscripts.

Nadine Bregler completed her PhD at the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Culture at the University of Hamburg in 2025. Her doctoral thesis analysed literary multiple-text manuscripts from Dunhuang, reassessing their use and value for both producers and later users. She has published in edited volumes, including Saved from Desert Sands: Re-discovering Objects on the Silk Roads (Brill, 2024), where she discusses the handling and use of manuscripts as objects, and Graffiti Scratched, Scrawled, Sprayed: Towards a Cross-Cultural Understanding (De Gruyter, 2023), in which she examines Chinese graffiti in Dunhuang.

陳杰,男,1983年7月生,浙江杭州人。2005年畢業於寧波大學歷史系,獲歷史學、法學學士學位。2007年獲浙江大學中國古代史碩士學位,同年進入博物館工作,現爲杭州西湖博物館總館(西湖學研究院、杭州南宋官窯博物館、唐雲藝術館)陳列展覽部主任、副研究館員。多年來專注隋唐史和東亞文化交流史方面,著有《海客談瀛洲——唐宋之際的中日交流》(商務印書館2020年)《明治維新》(陝西人民出版社2020年)《正倉院的世界》(陝西人民出版社2025年)等多本歷史文化著作。

Chen Jie, male, born in July 1983 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from the Department of History at Ningbo University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. In 2007, he received his Master’s degree in Ancient Chinese History from Zhejiang University. That same year, he joined a museum and currently serves as the Director of the Exhibition Department and Associate Research Curator at the Hangzhou West Lake Museum. Over the years, he has focused on the history of the Sui and Tang dynasties and the history of East Asian cultural exchanges. His published works include multiple books on history and culture, such as Maritime Tales of the Land of Immortals: Sino-Japanese Exchanges during the Tang-Song Transition (Commercial Press, 2020), The Meiji Restoration (Shaanxi People’s Publishing House, 2020), and The World of Shōsōin (Shaanxi People’s Publishing House, 2025).

Jinhua Chen, a native of Minhou, Fujian, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and Professor in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia, where he also long held the prestigious Canada Research Chair in East Asian Buddhism. His research spans a wide range of fields, including the history of interactions between monks and laity in East Asia, medieval Buddhist sectarian historiography, apocryphal scriptures, medieval Buddhist hagiographical literature, Buddhist translation literature, monastic economy, Chan/Zen history, Buddhism and technological innovation, and Buddhism-mediated cross-cultural exchange. His scholarship combines rigorous philological research with broad intellectual-historical vision. Professor Chen has published six scholarly monographs, with three more forthcoming, edited and co-edited more than forty volumes, and authored over one hundred academic articles. His research projects have received support from major international funding institutions, including the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the Max Planck Institutes, and the U.S. National Humanities Center. In recent years, he has directed the major international collaborative project “From the Ground Up: Buddhism and East Asian Religions” (FROGBEAR), which seeks to rethink important dimensions of Buddhism and East Asian religions through interdisciplinary approaches while further advancing the internationalization of East Asian Buddhist Studies.

陳金華,福建閩侯人,加拿大皇家學會院士、英屬哥倫比亞大學亞洲研究系教授,曾長期擔任加拿大國立東亞佛教講座教授。研究涉及東亞僧俗互動史、中古佛教宗派歷史編纂學、疑偽經研究、中古僧傳文學、佛教翻譯文學、寺院經濟、禪宗史、佛教與技術革新、佛教與中外交流等多個領域,兼具嚴密文獻考證與宏觀思想史視野,已出版學術專著6部、待刊3部、合編論文集40余部,發表論文100余篇。項目屢獲加拿大國家社科基金、日本學術振興會、德國洪堡基金會、馬普研究所,以及美國國家人文研究中心等國際權威機構資助。近年主持“拔地入雲”(FROGBEAR)大型國際合作項目,旨在通過跨學科視角,重構佛學與東亞宗教的重要面向,並推動東亞佛教研究的國際化。

陳振旺(1976- ),男,敦煌學博士,教授,深圳大學學術委員會委員,深圳大學敦煌與絲綢之路研究中心 主任,主要從事敦煌學、文化遺產創新研究。

陳芷南, 敦煌研究院
Zhinan Chen received her Ph.D. in Asian Languages and Literature from the University of Washington, Seattle and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Manuscripts, Dunhuang Academy. Her research focuses on Dunhuang manuscripts and the manuscript culture of medieval China. She received her M.A. degrees from SOAS, University of London, and from the Department of Asian Languages and Literature at the University of Washington. Her academic interests include medieval Chinese literature, Dunhuang Buddhist studies, and textual and manuscript studies more broadly.

陳芷南,華盛頓大學亞洲語言與文學系博士,現爲敦煌研究院文獻研究所博士後研究員,主要從事敦煌文獻與中古寫本文化研究。先後於倫敦大學亞非學院與華盛頓大學亞洲語言與文學系獲得碩士學位。研究領域涵蓋中古文學、敦煌佛教研究,以及文獻與寫本學等方向。

陳志遠,男,1983年生,中國社會科學院古代史研究所副研究員。2013年博士畢業于北京大學歷史學系,2013-2015年北京大學《儒藏》編纂與研究中心博士後,2015年起至今在中國社會科學院古代史研究所工作。曾到日本京都大學、日本國際佛教學大學院,法鼓佛教學院短期訪學。專業領域爲六朝佛教史、中古佛教文獻、儒佛交涉,最近關注法滅思想、舍利信仰、造像碑銘等話題。近年出版專著《六朝佛教史研究論集》,書評和隨筆集《慢讀漫筆》,在《文史》、《文史哲》、《中華文史論叢》、《世界宗教研究》等刊物發表論文30餘篇。

Zhiyuan Chen, born in 1983, is currently the associate researcher of the Institute of Ancient History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of History, Peking University, and has conducted short-term visit at Kyoto University, International College for Postgraduate Buddhist Studies, and Dharma Drum Buddhist College. His research focuses on the history of Buddhism during the six dynasties period, Buddhist literature, and the interaction between Confucianism and Buddhism. Recently, he is working on topics such as the idea of eschatology, relic worship, and epigraphical inscriptions. He has published a monograph entitled Studies on the History of Buddhism in the Six Dynasties, and over 30 journal articles.

侯浩然,浙江大學歷史學院“新百人計劃”研究員,博士生導師。先後於德國慕尼黑大學獲印度學碩士學位、萊比錫大學獲藏學博士學位,後在清華大學人文學院從事“水木學者”博士後研究工作。主要研究方向涵蓋西藏曆史與宗教、西藏文化史、西夏至蒙元時期的藏傳佛教傳播,以及以漢、藏、西夏多語種文獻爲核心的佛教文獻學。主持國家社科基金項目一項,省部級項目一項。著有專著Play of the Great Compassionate One: Life and Works of the Fourth rGyal dbang’ Brug chen Kun mKhyen Padma dkar po、《文本與歷史:藏傳佛教歷史敘事的形成和漢藏佛學研究的建構》,完成譯著一部,主編《不中不西不古不今之學:紀念陳寅恪西域與佛教語文學文集》、《亞洲文明史研究》等文集和期刊,在國內外期刊和文集中發表中英文論文二十餘篇。

Hou Haoran is an Assistant Professor (under the “New Hundred Talents Program”) and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of History, Zhejiang University. He earned his M.A. in Indology from the University of Munich (LMU Munich) and his Ph.D. in Tibetology from the University of Leipzig. He later completed postdoctoral research as a “Shuimu Scholar” at the School of Humanities, Tsinghua University. His research interests center on Tibetan history, religion, and culture; the transmission of Tibetan Buddhism during the Western Xia and Yuan periods; and Buddhist philology, with special emphasis on multilingual sources in Chinese, Tibetan, and Tangut.He has directed one National Social Science Fund project and one provincial- or ministerial-level project. He is the author of the monographs Play of the Great Compassionate One: Life and Works of the Fourth rGyal dbang ’Brug chen Kun mKhyen Padma dkar po and Text and History: The Formation of Tibetan Buddhist Historical Narratives and the Construction of Sino-Tibetan Buddhist Philology (Wenben yu lishi: Zangchuan fojiao lishi xushi de xingcheng he Hanzang foxue yanjiu de jiangou). He has also completed one translated monograph and served as the chief editor for essay collections and journals, including Neither Western nor Chinese, Neither Modern nor Ancient: Studies in Memory of Chen Yinke’s Philological Scholarship on the Western Regions and Buddhism and the Journal of Asian Civilizations. Additionally, he has published over twenty research papers in Chinese and English in peer-reviewed journals and academic anthologies both domestically and internationally.

Hu Yaofei, who is from Deqing, Zhejiang Province, is a PhD in History from Fudan University. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the School of History and Culture & the Institute of Tang Civilization of Shaanxi Normal University, Associate Editor of Tangshi Luncong (Collected Papers on Tang History), and also holds the concurrent post of Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Society of Tang History.

霍司佳,北京大學藝術學院博士後,主要研究方向爲中國中古時期佛教藝術與物質文化。曾在《文藝研究》《藝術理論與藝術史學刊》《中國美術研究》等期刊上發表多篇論文,參與《銘石爲景:早期至中古中國的摩崖文字》等藝術史著作的翻譯。

Huo Sijia is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Arts, Peking University. Her research focuses on Buddhist art and material culture in medieval China. She has published multiple articles in journals such as Literature & Art Studies, Journal of Art Theory & Art History, and Research of Chinese Fine Arts, and is one of the translators of the Chinese version of The Landscape of Words: Stone Inscriptions from Early and Medieval China.

JI Yun received his Ph.D. from Fudan University, Shanghai, in 2006. During the writing of his doctorate dissertation, his research encompassed the study of Buddhism within the philological studies of Buddhist written texts, the collecting of biographical materials of monks, and the anthropological studies of religion. Eventually, his dissertation, ‘Huijiao Gaoseng zhuan yanjiu’ 慧皎《高僧傳》研究 [A Study on the Biographies of Eminent Monks written by Huijiao] was published in early 2009. As an associate professor of BCS, Ji Yun is now engaged in teaching subjects such as Buddhist Literature, the institution of Buddhist Sangha, and Chinese and Indic languages. Ji Yun also assists in overseeing the operation of the college’s Academic Office and the library.

John Jorgensen is currently an independent scholar; his doctoral dissertation (Australian National University 1990) was on Chan and poetics. He taught Japanese Studies at Griffith University for twenty years. He has published on East Asian Buddhism and on Korean new religions. Chief publications include Inventing Hui-neng, the Sixth Patriarch: Hagiography and Biography in Early Ch’an (2005) and The Foresight of Dark Knowing: Chŏng Kam Nok and Insurrectionary Prognostication in Pre-modern Korea (2018); three volumes of translation in the Collected Works of Korean Buddhism series [vol. 3, Hyujeong: Selected Works; vol. 7-2, Gongan Collections II; vol. 8, Seon Dialogues] (2012), A Handbook of Korean Zen Practice: A Mirror on the Sŏn School of Buddhism (Sŏn’ga kwigam) (2015), and The Gyeongheo Collection:Prose and Poetry by the Restorer of Korean Seon (2016). Recent research has been on Chan and Zhu Xi, the developments of Buddhism in early Republican China, Yogacara in the late Ming, language and the diffusion of Chan, varieties of Sinitic used in Korea, and participation in a team translation of the Dasheng qixin lun into English (Treatise on Awakening Mahāyāna Faith, New York: Oxford University Press, 2019).

Dr. George A. Keyworth is Professor in the Department of History at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. He received his Ph.D. in Chinese Buddhist Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Keyworth has received grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada to support research about and the publication of peer-reviewed articles on Northern Song dynasty (960–1127) Chinese Chan Buddhism and the figure of Juefan Huihong 覺範惠洪 (1071–1128); Japanese pilgrims to Song China (e.g., Jōjin 成尋 [1011–1081]); apocryphal Chinese Buddhist scriptures and the particular case of the Shoulengyan jing 首楞厳經 (*Śūraṃgama-sūtra) using sources from Dunhuang, Central Asia, and Japan; esoteric Buddhism in Tang (618–907) and Song China; Zen Buddhism in Edo Japan and the figure of Kakumon Kantetsu 覚門貫徹 (d. 1730); and old Japanese manuscript Buddhist canons, especially from Nanatsudera 七寺, Amanosan Kongōji 天野山金剛寺 and the Matsuo shrine 松尾大社 canon kept at Myōrenji 妙蓮寺. Dr. Keyworth is currently working on two books, tentatively titled: A History of Matsuo Shrine and Copying for the Kami: A Study and Catalog of Three 12th century Manuscript Buddhist Canons.

李猛,復旦大學中文系副教授。主要研究領域爲漢唐文獻,尤其關注晉唐佛教文獻與文學、佛教史,兼及六朝史。出版專著《齊梁皇室的佛教信仰與撰述》(中華書局,2021年),發表論文三十餘篇。

Li Meng serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Fudan University, where his research centers on the textual culture of the Han through Tang periods, with sustained attention to Buddhist scriptural and literary materials produced during the Jin and Tang eras, the development of Buddhist historical consciousness, and the broader political and intellectual landscape of the Six Dynasties, with particular emphasis on the Southern courts. His publications include the monograph Buddhist Belief and Writings of the Qi and Liang Royalty, along with over thirty articles in peer-reviewed scholarly journals.

李巍(1991-),北京大學文學博士,河南大學文學院副教授,碩士生導師,主講“古代文學”“古代文論”“六朝小說”等課程。研究方向為佛教譬喻文學、中國文學批評史、六朝文論等,主要關注中國佛教與文學的關係、中古小說、僧傳等議題,同時也從事佛典中英譯介等工作。發表譯作一部,在Religions《世界宗教研究》《華林國際佛學學刊》等期刊發表論文數篇,主持國社科後期資助一項,河南省社科項目一項,其他項目若干。

Wei LI (born in 1991) received his Doctor degree of Literature from Peking University and currently serves as an associate professor at the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Henan University, where he also fulfills the role of a supervisor for master’s students. His teaching portfolio includes courses such as “The History of Classical Chinese Literature,” “Classical Chinese Literary Theory,” and “Fictions of the Six Dynasties,” among others. Liu Yi, was born in Beijing in 1972. In 2000, he obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of History at Capital Normal University, where he subsequently took up a teaching position. Currently, he is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and dean at the School of History of Capital Normal University, as well as the vice president of the China Dunhuang and Turfan Society. His areas of expertise are Dunhuang studies and the religious history of medieval China. He has published over 160 academic papers, research book reviews, and translations in various domestic and international journals and anthologies. He has authored and edited eight monographs and collections of essays: “Reverence for Heaven and the Exaltation of the Dao: The Intellectual History Background of the Formation of Medieval Confucian and Daoist Thoughts” (2005), “Classics and History: A Collection of Studies on Daoist Scriptures from Dunhuang” (2011), “Divinity and Regionality: Studies on the Daoist Belief World between the Han and Tang Dynasties” (2011), “Daoist Scriptures of Dunhuang and Medieval Daoism” (2013), “Historical and Documentary Studies of Han and Tang Daoism: Selected Works of Liu Yi” (2015), “Introduction to the Study of Chinese Daoism History” (2017), “Historical Studies on the Lingbao Scriptures of the Six Dynasties” (2018), and “Longsha Lun Dao Ji” (2020). He has successfully completed two general projects and one key project funded by the National Social Science Fund, as well as one project supported by the Ministry of Education’s Humanities and Social Sciences.His research is characterized by the use of historical analysis to study the formation and ideological contexts of religious scriptures. From 1996 to 2016, his primary research focus was on Daoist history and scriptures. In terms of Daoist history, he has critically examined the historical model of the “Five Pecks of Rice Dao to Celestial Master Dao” lineage. Regarding Daoist scriptures, he has conducted specialized research on texts such as the “Taiping Jing,” “Laozi Xiang Er Zhu,” “Laozi Hua Hu Jing,” “Laozi Bian Hua Jing,” “Sheng Xuan Nei Jiao Jing,” “Tai Shang Miao Fa Ben Xiang Jing,” and the “Lingbao Scriptures” of the Six Dynasties. Since 2017, he has shifted his focus to the study of medieval Buddhism, with particular interest in the history of Buddhism in the Western Regions, overland Buddhist trade routes between China and India, the history and art of Buddhism’s initial transmission to China, and comparative studies on Indian Buddhist “Dharma decline” prophecies and East Asian Buddhist “end of the Dharma” concepts.

Dr. Abigail MacBain is the Lecturer in Pre-modern Japanese Studies at the University of Edinburgh, engaging with themes of transregional exchange and Buddhist transmission throughout East Asia. Her research examines Buddhism’s popularity in the early Japanese courts not only from the perspective of its religious tenets and visual splendour, but also in its representation of and access to foreign peoples, countries and cultures. Most recently, she has been studying the transmission and localisation of continental music and dance in Japan. She is currently working on a manuscript that builds on her PhD research (Columbia, 2021) about a group of monks from India, China, and Southeast Asia who relocated to Japan in the mid-eighth century, and their involvement with monastic oversight, ordinations, and continental music.

Shi Jiangang is a Tenured Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Cultural Heritage, Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU). His primary research areas encompass the study of Shaanxi cave temples (grottoes)​ and Dunhuang Studies.

He is the author or co-author of six monographs, including Ethnic Integration and Cultural Interaction: A Study on the Multicultural Characteristics of Song and Jin Dynasty Cave Temples in Northern Shaanxi, Investigation and Research on Song and Jin Dynasty Cave Temples in Yan’an, and General Catalogue of Shaanxi Cave Temple Contents: Yan’an Volume.

Prof. Shi has presided over several National Social Science Fund projects, notably the ongoing project “A Study on the Multi-ethnic Co-construction of Song and Jin Dynasty Cave Temples in Shaanxi,”as well as the completed project “A Study on the Multicultural Characteristics of Song and Jin Dynasty Cave Temples in Shaanxi,”which was awarded an “Excellent”​ rating upon conclusion.

Currently, he is leading the compilation of The General Catalogue of Shaanxi Cave Temple Contents: Guanzhong Volumeand Southern Shaanxi Volume, as well as the Archaeological Report on the Zhongshan Cave Temples in Zichang, Shaanxi.

Mingli Sun is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia and serves as a research assistant for UBC’s From the Ground Up project and the Glorisun Global Network for Buddhist Studies. Her research focuses on Buddhism in the Tang dynasty, with particular attention to religious activities in Sichuan and the two Tang capitals (Chang’an and Luoyang). Employing a cross-media approach, she integrates textual sources, epigraphy, Buddhist images, and cave-temple art in her analysis. She has published more than a dozen articles and book chapters in both Chinese and English, addressing topics such as the interpretation of images and texts in cliffside Buddhist carvings, the re-editing and systematic study of Buddhist inscriptions, and the reconstruction of religious and social networks in local Buddhist communities. Her representative works include a multilayered analysis of the Amitāyurdhyāna-sūtra transformation images from Tang and Five Dynasties in Sichuan, as well as a reassessment of historical materials related to local Buddhist carving projects. In addition to her research, she participates actively in international scholarly collaboration, contributes to the editorial work of academic journals, and has taken part in several international training programs in Buddhist studies. Overall, her work combines textual scholarship with material culture studies and offers significant insights into the regional character, diversity, and broader East Asian context of Tang-dynasty Buddhism.

Bangwei WANG is emeritus professor of Peking University, China. His research field covers textual studies of Buddhist literature of Sanskrit and its Chinese translation, history of Indian and Chinese Buddhism, Sino-Indian cultural interactions particularly those topics related to Buddhism, Chinese Buddhist pilgrims’ accounts on India, such as by Faxian, Xuanzang and Yijing, and the historical and religious sources related to these accounts. Since 1983 he has published a number of academic books and articles, mostly in Chinese in China, some also in English in Germany, France, India, Sweden, Estonia, Nepal, Holland, US, Denmark and in Japanese in Japan.

Xie Yifeng, born in 1988 in Changsha, Hunan Province, is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at Yuelu Academy, Hunan University. His main research interests are political culture, ideology, religions, and art of the Tang and Song dynasties. Since 2014, he has published over fifty papers and book reviews in important domestic and international journals such as Academic Monthly, Wenshizhe, Wenshi, Religions (A&HCI), Shi Lin, and Dushu. He has undertaken two projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, one project funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology’s National Foreign Experts Program, and one project funded by the Ancient Culture and Relics Protection and Research Center. He visited Harvard University twice, in 2014 and 2019, serving as a collaborative researcher at the Harvard China Media Lab. After 2021, he became the director of the History Department at Yuelu Academy. He is also a council member of the Religious Culture and Tourism Branch of the China National Architecture Committee, and a member of the China Tang History Society, the Song History Research Association, and the China Religious Studies Association. His undergraduate course “History of Chinese Thought” has been included in the national first-class online undergraduate courses, and he has undertaken the annotation work for the late Tang Dynasty section of the Gangjian Yizhilu.

Zeng Yang holds a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia and is currently a Research Fellow in the Department of Asian Studies. His research focuses on the religious and cultural history of medieval East Asia, with a current emphasis on the intersection of religious supernaturalism and historical memory in Tang narrative literature. A seasoned scholar-translator, Dr. Yang has been instrumental in producing several major Chinese editions of scholarly works. Recently, he spearheaded the definitive Chinese translation and preparation of the late Professor Antonino Forte’s monumental monograph. His recent articles include studies on the historically singular political significance of Amoghavajra’s Buddhist enterprise and that of the “New Translation” of the Renwang Jing.

張策,男,1998年9月生,陝西蒲城人。浙江大學歷史學院中國古代史研究所2024級博士研究生,導師爲孫英剛教授。北京師範大學歷史學碩士、陝西師範大學歷史學學士。目前主要關注唐代宦官政治、石刻文獻等學術議題。已發表《〈神策軍碑〉與開成會昌政局》(《文津學志》(CSSCI來源集刊)第20輯)、《文化傳承視野下的“尋寶之旅”》(《陝西師範大學學報(哲學社會科學版)》(CSSCI來源期刊)2024年第1期,《新華文摘》論點摘編)(第二作者)、《甘露之變關聯史事探究》(《地域文化研究》2023年第5期)、《宦官也有“陳世美”:甘露之變與李好古婚姻》(澎湃新聞·私家歷史欄目)等論文。曾獲中華人民共和國教育部研究生國家獎學金、北京師範大學研究生學術創新獎、小米獎學金、陝西師範大學隋唐史研究傳承獎等學術獎勵,相關論文曾入選第二屆史學理論與史學史青年論壇、第十二屆珞珈史學論壇、首屆“星槎”論壇、第九屆新史學青年論壇等重要學術會議。

Zhang Ce, male, born in September 1998 in Pucheng, Shaanxi Province. He is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of History, Zhejiang University, supervised by Professor Sun Yinggang. He holds a Master’s degree from Beijing Normal University and a Bachelor’s degree from Shaanxi Normal University. His current research primarily focuses on eunuch politics during the Tang Dynasty and epigraphic literature.

He has published several academic papers, including “The Shen Ce Army Stele and the Political Landscape of the Kaicheng and Huichang Eras” (Wenjin Xuezhi [CSSCI], Vol. 20); “A ‘Treasure Hunt’ from the Perspective of Cultural Heritage Inheritance” (Journal of Shaanxi Normal University [Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition] [CSSCI], Issue 1, 2024; key arguments excerpted by Xinhua Digest) as co-author; “An Inquiry into the Historical Events Associated with the Sweet Dew Incident” (Regional Culture Study, Issue 5, 2023); and “Eunuchs Also Have Their ‘Chen Shimei’: The Sweet Dew Incident and Li Haogu’s Marriage” (The Paper / Pengpai News, Private History column).

His academic honors include the National Scholarship for Graduate Students (Ministry of Education, P.R.C.), the Academic Innovation Award for Graduate Students at Beijing Normal University, the Xiaomi Scholarship, and the Inheritance Award for Sui-Tang History Research at Shaanxi Normal University. Furthermore, his related papers have been selected for presentation at several important academic conferences, including the 2nd Youth Forum on Historiographical Theory and History of Historiography, the 12th Wuhan University Doctoral Forum on History, the 1st Lanzhou University Graduate Forum on Ethnology and History, and the 9th New History Youth Forum (Journal of Historical Science).

Currently a professor at the Center for Research on Chinese Excavated Classics and Paleography of Fudan University, also the vice president of Chinese Association of Dunhuang and Turfan Studies. Her research is mainly focused on Dunhuang Studies and Chinese language and linguistics. She has published two monographs: Dunhuang shuyi yuyan yanjiu 敦煌書儀語言研究 (The Lingistic Study of Shuyi Documents from Dunhuang; The Commercial Press, 2007) and Dunhuang shehui jingji wenxian ciyu lunkao 敦煌社會經濟文獻詞語論考 [Research into the Words in Dunhuang Manuscripts Concerning Social and Economic History; Shanghai People’s Publishing House, 2013]. She has also co-edited a comprehensive dictionary: Dunhuang wenxian yuyan da cidian 敦煌文獻語言大詞典 [Dunhuang Literature Linguistic Dictionary; Sichuan Dictionary Publishing House, 2022], and authoring over 80 research articles. Her doctoral dissertation was selected as one of the “One hundred Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations of China” in 2006; her monograph was awarded the First Prize of “the Twelfth Shanghai Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences of Shanghai” in 2013; and the dictionary she co-edited was awarded the First Prize of “the Twenty-second Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences of Zhejiang Province” in 2023.

張小豔:復旦大學出土文獻與古文字研究中心教授,博士生導師,敦煌吐魯番學會副會長,主要從事敦煌學與漢語言文字學的研究。出版專著2部:《敦煌書儀語言研究》(商務印書館2007年版)、《敦煌社會經濟文獻詞語論考》(上海人民出版社2013年版);參編大型語文工具書1部:《敦煌文獻語言大詞典》(四川辭書出版社2022年版),發表論文80餘篇。博士論文入選2006年“全國百篇優秀博士學位論文”,專著2013年評獲上海市第十二届哲學社會科學優秀成果一等獎,參編的工具書2023年評獲浙江省第二十二届哲學社會科學優秀成果一等獎。
