Return to the 2019 Oxford Intensive Program page.   旭日國際佛學網絡暑期密集型佛學菁英培訓班於牛津大學開幕 翟一輪、李瀾。攝影李程鵬。 Via 拔地入雲 WeChat August 12, 2019   2019年8月11日傍晚,旭日國際佛學網絡暑期密集型佛學菁英培訓班於牛津大學聖安妮學院正式開幕。是日牛津市惠風和暢,細雨連綿,五十餘名來自全球各地的學生學者相聚一堂,共同參與集授課、講座、學術研討會、青年學者論壇、宗教名勝參訪為一體的佛學菁英班。該項目倚靠旭日国际佛學網絡(Glorisun Global Network)的師資支持,從去年開始每年夏天在旭日網絡大學(包括北京大學、香港大學、英屬哥倫比亞大學、耶魯大學、普林斯頓大學、加州大學伯克利分校、哈佛大學、漢堡大學、劍橋大學與牛津大學)(https://glorisunglobalnetwork.org)輪流舉辦,由加拿大英屬哥倫比亞大學的“拔地入雲:佛教與東亞宗教”(FROGBEAR)研究計劃(https://www.frogbear.org)統籌、旨在促進佛學研究在全球範圍內多面向、多層次的創新合作,育成具有國際視野與跨學科研究能力的開拓性高級人才。 牛津菁英班合影 晚宴伊始,英屬哥倫比亞大學陈金華教授首先致詞,他對研修班贊助方旭日國際佛學網絡(特別是旭日慈善基金會創始人楊釗先生、旭日佛學網絡的領導者北京大學佛教典籍與藝術研究中心主任湛如教授),以及即將交流授課的諸位教授表達了感激之情,同時歡迎各位學子從東亞及世界各地不遠萬里前來,並激勵學員們把握學習交流機會,奮勇向前。之後,劍橋大學高奕睿(Imre Galambos)教授致詞,他回顧自己在往期研修班授課的經歷,鼓勵學員們潛心研究,再創新高。緊接著,學員依次用英文進行了自我介紹。此次研修班學員男女參半,歷經層層選拔,由全球二十八所著名高校佛教及東亞文化領域的學生學者組成,其中博士生及年輕學者占三分之二(其中包括來自香港的五位研究生),可謂群英薈萃,鳳毛麟角。尤其值得一提的是學員中多達十位的出家僧尼,他們同時活躍在宗教界與學術界,學跨內外,聖俗同修,為研修班的多元文化背景增辉添色。 陳金華教授致辭 高奕睿(Imre Galambos)教授致詞 本次研修班為期三周,分兩階段進行。8月11日至19日的第一階段, […]
